If you’ve been holding out for some fun holiday festivities with physical exertion, you may want to sign up for the Renegade Santa Run. This fun event is sure to bring out a lot of holiday go-ers right before the big day, so we’re here to give you the RUNdown of this fun event!</p> <h2>Renegade Santa Run: When & Where?</h2> <p>Renegade Santa RunThis fun 5K, 10K, and Kids Run will take place prior on Saturday, December 21. The event will be held at Hicks Canyon Elementary School at 3817 Viewpark Avenue in Irvine, CA. Limited parking is available at the school. Additional parking will be available three short blocks away at Arnold O. Beckman High School at 3588 Bryan Avenue. Free buses will shuttle participants and spectators to and from the race site from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.</p> <p>There will be various race starts throughout the morning. Registration and packet pickup will begin at 6 a.m. The 5K and 10K races will start at 8 a.m. At 9:15 a.m., the 5K Award winners will be announced. Don your red, white, and green to participate in the Costume Contest that kicks off at 9:30 a.m. for more chances to win! At 9:45 a.m., the 10K Awards will be presented. The ½-mile Kids Run starts at 10 a.m.</p> <h2>What to Expect at the Renegade Santa Run?</h2> <p>Renegade Santa Run in Irvine CAThis event is expected to draw a huge crowd. You can dress up to participate in the Costume Contest or simply admire all the running Santas. There will also be an appearance by the BEST Santa in Orange County, and you’ll have a chance for a photo op with your family and little ones. And, of course, there will be plenty of commemorative Renegade Santa Run apparel available for purchase!</p> <h2>Running with Purpose</h2> <p>This year’s Renegade Santa Run is partnered with Team Challenge, a physical endurance non-profit that works with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. There will be opportunities to learn more about their mission.
