Taking place Thanksgiving Day, it is fun for the entire family and allows you to eat that second helping of turkey and mashed potatoes completely guilt-free. This race helps support local charities and nonprofits while having loads of fun. Start the day by visiting the Health and Wellness Expo featuring local vendors with products that will enhance your health. Dinosaur Dash
2915 El Camino Real Tustin, CA 92782 For the past 27 years, the Dino Dash has been helping the Tustin Public Schools Foundation and other local schools with their annual racing event. If you’re into running, walking, biking, or racing with friends, this is the place to be November 4 this year. The day begins with the Chip-themed half marathon and 10K, but not soon after, you can enjoy the 5K, 15K, or 50K bike tour. There is also another 5K and 2K fun-run later in the morning. Into the Wild: Limestone Eco Challenge
Limestone Canyon Wilderness Park 5524 Santiago Canyon Rd. Silverado, CA 92676 If trail-running is more your thing, Into the Wild hosts a ton of running events that put your endurance and running ability to the test. This November, you’ll find the Limestone Echo Challenge: a 12K or 25K race throughout a scenic setting. Wake up early in the morning and hit the trails for this intense and beautiful run. After, there will be an award ceremony for the best in place for each age group and an exciting raffle to end the day. Best of all, part of the proceeds goes toward the Irvine Ranch Conservatory and OC parks to support the wonderful habitat and wildlife. Facebook
