The new Tiguan offers 40.2 inches of legroom for front and second-row passengers. The cargo area is also a major highlight, providing 26.5 cubic feet of space with all seats in use, which can expand to a total of 58.9 cubic feet when the second row is folded flat.

Technology & Features

Volkswagen has significantly updated the technology and safety features in both the ID.4 and the Tiguan. The latest Volkswagen ID.4 now comes standard with a much larger 12.9-inch touchscreen at the center of the dashboard. Both the ID.4 and the new Tiguan feature a more advanced version of App-Connect, which now includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

On the driver-assisting technology front, both vehicles now include the comprehensive IQ.DRIVE suite as standard. This is a big step up. It includes features like the familiar Front Assist, which provides Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking, but also adds other safety systems.
