Fourth of July Fireworks Near Lake Forest, CA
Living in Southern California is great for many reasons, not the least of which is easy access to multiple firework displays. Here are some great events in and around Lake Forest, CA.
The City of Lake Forest 24th Annual Fourth of July Event is a fun combination of a pancake breakfast, parade, and 5K run. Parking for the event will be at El Toro High School.
The parade starts at 10 am at the intersection of Ridge Route and Toledo Way and will move down Toledo Way. The festivities end at 2 pm, so you’ll have plenty of time for relocating for evening firework viewing.
The Irvine High School Stadium will be hosting the 31st Annual Concert on the Green and Fireworks Festival. There will be live music provided by the Derek Bourdeaux Group, activities for kids such as field games and a bounce house, and the Irvine Police Department Color Guard will do a Presentation of the Colors. \
The gates open at 3 pm, so arrive early to take advantage of all of the fun activities until the firework show begins at 9 pm. There will also be plenty of food for purchase as well. Tickets for adults (ages 14 and up) are $15, seniors and kids are $10, and some family packages are available.
Combine your love of music with a Fourth of July celebration at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre with the Pacific Symphony. The concert starts at 8 pm and will consist of covers of Journey’s most popular hits. The Pacific Symphony will back the band Faithfully as they perform favorites such as “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Wheel in the Sky,” and “Faithfully.” The concert will also feature a variety of patriotic favorites and will conclude with a brilliant fireworks display.
Ticket prices start at $25 for adults and $12 for children (prices go up to $107 depending on seat location) and can be easily purchased online.
This event is held every year adjoining Lake Mission Viejo. It combines the traditional Fourth of July fireworks with an all-day street faire. There will be carnival rides and games as well as booths for food, drinks, arts and crafts, and gifts. Local clubs and other organizations are also welcome to set up booths. There will be lots of free entertainment, including music, dance groups, and comedians. When the sun sets, the event will conclude with spectacular fireworks.
Head all the way to the beach for this exciting fireworks cruise. Starting at 7 pm, this event features an hour of cruising through Newport Harbor and past the beaches of Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach. Dolphins and even a giant blue whale have been spotted on this trip.
